As coffee roasters and enthusiasts, we deeply appreciate Ethiopia, the birthplace of coffee. To honor this special origin, we have permanently included an Ethiopian coffee in our range. Enjoy a cup full of flavors with nuances of stone fruits and citrus every day. This coffee comes from smallholder farmers in Jimma in the western Arsi zone of Ethiopia. The Jimma Coffee Cooperative supports local farmers through training in sustainable agriculture, financial management, as well as marketing and export. The cooperative also promotes environmental protection and supports organic, sustainable farming methods that improve soil quality and biodiversity. Our farmers use organic fertilizer to naturally nourish their coffee trees and grow coffee cherries without harmful chemicals.
Roasting information
This coffee is roasted for espresso, meaning it has higher intensity, rich texture, and sweetness. Due to the roast level, the coffee exhibits a balanced flavor profile with bright acidity, well-rounded sweetness, and very low bitterness. While especially suitable for espresso machines and Moka pots, you can also enjoy it with other methods if you prefer a richer coffee. The espresso reaches its best quality around 2 weeks after the roast date.
Use and storage
We recommend enjoying this coffee within 3 months of the roast date.
Store it in a dry and cool place, between +16 and +25 degrees Celsius.
